I agree with the above, he is our top goalscorer at present & always a threat when he plays....

His legs are not what they were however he can still do a job for us in most of our games...

Don't understand the criticism he gets on here, we should be celebrating what a great player we have & supporting him through the good & bad times...

Rooney is one of our best ever players, he is a blue & plays with his heart for the shirt can't wait for him to score again for the best club in the land....COYB...

Agreed. He's suited to play against a Leicester given they sit off and look to counter. Having someone who can pick a pass from a deeper position will be crucial.
Just please Sam, don't play him high up the pitch behind Tosun. It doesn't work.
 
Should be nowhere near the Xl. Absolutely finished at this level.

Spraying passes with one in ten coming off does not qualify him to be starting in the Premier League.
