Wayne Rooney back in the side against Palace hopefully...

We need to start off positively at home on Saturday with Davies,Siggurdsson & Rooney all in the team from the off....

We should beat Palace & gain some much needed confidence after the shambles at the Emirates.....

It still hurts me thinking back to when he left. It hurts me more that he had to do it or he would never have got to play at the highest level.

That's the biggest indictment I can level at the custodians of this club. They turned us into a side purely there to make up the numbers. Young scouse kids couldn't stick with us and play at the top level. Shame on them all. And bigger shame on them that they still haven't turned it round.

He's talked candidly about it here.

I could listen to him and Carra chat footy all night.

Amazed he said Tevez was his fave to play with like, but I suppose those two together would wreck a few defenders heads.

Biggest Evertonian there is. No, not Wayne.

But HEY, isn't it just oh so curious that he's nowhere to be seen recently?

I'm 39 TT and Wayne leaving is the only time I've ever been devastated an Everton player has left. Horrible feeling, gut wrenching.

I think I even mentioned here when he re signed that I was more emotional than I've ever been with any player signing as it gave me peace of mind.

Great player, knows his football. Wish we had got him 3 years ago but I'm not arsed what anyone says, he's gave us our brightest moments this season.

Bag another 5 or 6 along with a winner against the shyte this season and he can say job done.
