Rooney should see his contract out...

Experience, goals, assists, influence ,winning mentality, boyhood team,England top goalscorer ever, captain & bringing on the young players..

Why is this even in doubt...
He's on way too much money.

I totally agree...but no fee was paid when he came so this counteracts his big wage.

He has one year left on his contract so come on Wayne one last swan song plz...

This season was his last swan song. Don’t want another. He clearly isn’t happy being on the bench so his attitude will stink the place out. The fact he still gets 300k a week as well, regardless of the fact we only pay half, will rub some players up the wrong way. The fact we pay him 150k in itself is ludicrous for someone his age and is out of sync with our wage scheme.

So what if it’s his boyhood xlub, by that logic we have to bring Barkley back at some point, no thanks. He is England’s top scorer but again, means nothing regarding his playing ability now. He should never have come back and is not good enough for us if we are serious about challenging for the top 6.

Some good points & I can understand where you are coming from...

Wayne Rooney will decide within the next two weeks whether he is going to quit Everton for Major League Soccer outfit DC United.

A deal has been agreed in principle for the 32-year-old to leave Goodison Park.

DC United want Rooney to make his debut when they open their new 20,000-capacity Audi Field stadium against Vancouver Whitecaps on 14 July.

The MLS transfer window does not open until 10 July, but DC want Rooney in Washington by the start of the month.

And with Everton also due back for pre-season training under their new manager Marco Silva, there is a deadline for Rooney to choose where his short-term future lies.

He has another season remaining on his present Everton contract but DC United officials are said to be hopeful the former England skipper will opt to follow former Manchester United team-mates Bastian Schweinsteiger and Zlatan Ibrahimovic and move to the MLS.

Rooney scored a club record 253 goals during his 13 seasons at Old Trafford before he returned to Everton in 2017.

Although he found the net in his first two Premier League games for the Toffees last season and finished their top scorer with 11 goals in all competitions, Rooney's last came on 18 December and he made only four appearances from 31 March as he grew increasingly frustrated at his lack of opportunities under manager Sam Allardyce, who was sacked on 16 May.

2 weeks thing is interesting, wonder why?

He's parachuting into Love island as we speak for a holiday.

This is why I dont have faith in the club at the moment RE transfers- this has been rumbling on for weeks and still nothing sorted.
not sure you can pin this on the club. Brand and Silva have confirmed he's free to leave and the club have allowed DC to agree a deal with him. Any stalling at this point is by Rooney not the club. Equally i don't think MLS teams can officially sign any players until July 1st so it might just be their waiting till then?

Their Range Rover got towed apparently. (Was big news on bing homepage at work). Apparently Colleen went to a Beyoncé gig and decided to park the car outside the venue. There was double yellows so she just pulled it into the pavement.

It’s fine though, it’s only £105 fine to pay which is pennies to them.

It’s was all “Wayne rooneys car” even though he is banned from driving and wasn’t there.

The club and the players can agree to cancel his contract but he doesn't want to do this as he wants to eek out every penny from this club.

Apparently having a net worth of over 100 million isn't enough for this guy.

Disgusting.
