I awake down here to read the news late. The news I was unfortunately expecting for a few days now.
You have all written beautiful messages. I don't know if I can contrive much more.
@wbn61, Michael, you were an absolute gem that has been taken from us all far too early.
You fought the battle with honour and respect. Suffered in levels most will never appreciate or understand. Yet you were always there for everyone that needed you.
I lost my cousin to cancer around 18 months ago, and the pain was there just as
@wbn61 informed us all his cancer had returned. There are some great people in the Depression Related Issues Thread. While I have been fortunate in life to not have endured this issue, I decided a couple of years back to take a look at that thread on top of the Everton Forum page and see what it was all about. In there I have witnessed levels of generosity and humanity I may well not see " in the real world". After losing my cousin, I must confess to taking a soft spot to Michael as his news surfaced soon after.
Michael, you are pain free mate. You have left behind a family in your "real world", and an even bigger family in here who will never forget you and what you have done for many others.
I'm sure
@GrandOldTeam and the moderators will find the appropriate way to permanently remember him in here, but for now may I pass on my condolences to Michael's family and friends.
RIP mate. Yet another good one taken far too soon...
