We need to talk about England fans.

Should England be banned from a tournament or two?

Wont make any difference Thomas.

I was musing this on the way to the shop earlier, and basically, the English are the worst at being drunk in Europe. A significant minority just cant not start fights and stuff. The Scots, Irish, and Welsh lads all get bladdered, but thats it. They get bladdered and have a good time.

I am sure bar owners the length and breadth of Costa Del Everywhere would agree.

I know. It was interesting that Adrian Durham on TS earlier was the first sport presenter (as far as I know), to make the link between the mayhem and drugs. He said its easy and lazy to just blame booze. Cocaine (beak/lemo?) has a far more impact on some of the behaviour the "fans" exhibited on Sunday.

There'll have been lots of them on the lemo yesterday and it gives them imbeciles confidence to act the hard man and want a fight.

It really annoys me that we're tarnished by these scumbags because they have nothing to do with football: they went out to get lashed and cause mayhem.

Played an absolute blinder, there, the lad.

Is right Tyrone, is right.

Tories, utterly shameless biffs.

So delighted these young men are not just shutting up and playing football. To be the first to openly call her out is amazing. Hopefully a few more young sportsmen and women, especially POC's follow suit.

They have a massive platform, millions of fans and together could achieve something in regards to exposing this government and some of its behaviours/decisions.

It shows what a social media presence COULD achieve, but until the companies take steps to ban the trolls, victories like this one will always feel a bit hollow. I can only imagine what the comments section to that tweet look like.

Obviously less said about the significant minority of England fans the better but as much as last night hurts I’ll always be grateful to this group of England players for making me be a passionate supporter of my national team again. I’ve never felt so connected to an England side in my life and for the first time in my life, I feel that there’s an England side who if I was good enough, I’d have no hesitation in disclosing my sexuality to.

Obviously members with skulls the size of those Easter Island heads won’t understand that, hiding under a pretence of ‘scouse not English’ totally forgetting that the massive racist abuse of opposition players at Goodison is still in living memory.
