It’s things like this that may help impact any decision too, because it’s going to disrupt a lot of people attending. I’d usually get the train, myself.
8 am dosent help the people it needs to help though
Just helps the locals
45 mph is gale forceI’ve been on a walk down the Prom, and thankfully I had my parachute. And by parachute, I mean a 40Kg+ dog to stop me taking off.
The wind itself isn’t great, but the gusts are easily 60mph +, which counts as gale force. It’s getting worse, too.

Weather man Phil has returned to the front to produce evidence of said weather.

Sensible decision.Come from the supporters club cchairman. Police have called it.
And as I said, if you live miles away you need to make your own decision. Everton aren’t responsible for that. I was planning to go today, I live 3.5 hours away and haven’t got in the car. Didn’t need Everton to tell me.
The overwhelming majority of people going to the match live within an hour or so of Goodison, and weather in Liverpool last night wasn’t horrendous. The storm could easily have passed differently and today not be as bad as it has turned out.
