The overwhelming majority of people going to the match live within an hour or so of Goodison, and weather in Liverpool last night wasn’t horrendous. The storm could easily have passed differently and today not be as bad as it has turned out.
 
I’ve been on a walk down the Prom, and thankfully I had my parachute. And by parachute, I mean a 40Kg+ dog to stop me taking off.

The wind itself isn’t great, but the gusts are easily 60mph +, which counts as gale force. It’s getting worse, too.

People often make poor decisions in scenarios like this though, you see it a lot with horrendous weather conditions.

The club saying it's ok for the game to go ahead makes people think it's ok to travel.
