I remember that story ?????
Fair do’s about Fila but one eyebrow deffo weren’t ??In my defense, Fila was slightly fashionable then.
No, that's not really any better is it?
I can’t function off it, if I have some it will be after my tea and I’m settled with nothing to do. I can’t face the outside world when I’m stoned jib that!30 years with a couple of years off. Ive been off it for a little while now though, started to get really weird vibes abour my heart or having a stroke or something. Always enjoyed it way more than booze which i barely touch. Might pop it aside till im finished the gig im doing. Seemed to have stopped the ciggies too which is annoying coz i actually really enjoy them.
Someone said to me the other day, you must really not need to numb the pain, and it made me think, what pain? I realised thats what most people use for, but ive always just enjoyed it to wind down.
@COYBL25 stand down. Your role is redundant.Medical goes to back your post - great for Parkinson's desease & other serious illnesses etc , but can have phytotoxic affects on the young - in future life etc
Im from a fairly small town and at one time there was a thing that you got your eyebrows shaved if you fell asleep at someone’s house. There was loads of young lads going around with no eyebrows. Must have freaked out plenty of tourists. In my defense, Fila was slightly fashionable then.

Was chatting to a fella I used to work with the other day, he retired in July and called in to see him.Yeah i need to do some medical stuff, have a really good check up. I ever dont cough though, and am pretty fit, but you just never know. After a lifetime it def catches up.
Was chatting to a fella I used to work with the other day, he retired in July and called in to see him.
He had been saying before he retired that he'd been having some issues, shortness of breath, panic attack type stuff which had been put down to anxiety by a locum GP and given some meds.
He went back after no change and saw a different GP who asked about past smoking etc (he's not smoked for 10 yrs after smoking 3 cigars a day for 30 yrs) and doc tested him for COPD amongst other stuff.
He registered on the Gold Scale chart they use here as having mild COPD symptoms, given an inhaler for when he has his moments and been fine re other symptons since. Just a thought x
Gordon is as fit as a fiddle, does 2x 5 mile power walks every day, 5am and 10pm, has done for 40+ yrs he says. Was getting what he described as 'flutters' and a sense of panic which led to shortness of breath.More heart than lungs for me i reckon. Lungs i can run round a pitch like Iwobi. Heart will probably do itself in and i reckon its blood flow.
My old fella died of an embolism earlier this year and he was fit as f at 69.
