Firstly then, thank you for your patience as we migrated GrandOldTeam to a new piece of software and server overnight.
I mentioned last month why the change was necessary and we tested this software extensively prior moving to it, firstly the moderating team and then it was available to all upgraded members. We're here now because the 60+ people who trialled the software all said it was an improvement. It needed to be, this forum cost a few bob, not to mention the time invested to make it work and move the old forum to it. I hope you'll all agree the expense and effort was worth it in providing a much faster, responsive and immersive forum.
That said, as a rule Evertonians don't like change and grumbles will only be testament to our papering over the cracks on the last forum but please have faith in us that this will be better and lend us some more patience and support as we configure a few tweaks.
