Wes Brown is being lined up for a £3million move to Everton.

The 31-year-old Manchester United defender is also wanted by Sunderland, Bolton and Blackburn after being told by Sir Alex Ferguson that his time at Old *Trafford is up *following the *emergence of Chris Smalling and arrival of £16.5m Phil Jones.

But Brown, who came through the ranks at United after joining his hometown club as a schoolboy in 1996, prefers a switch to Goodison Park to link-up once again with Phil Neville.
