2nd half was pleasing. Controlled the game and looked dangerous at times. Early contender for goal of the season with that Osman effort. Lovely move.

Kevin mirallas is far and away our best player. First name on the sheet for me. Stones was excellent, better from Jagielka... still not at best, but better. Mccarthy and Barry were back to a decent level.

Happy overall. Clean sheet. 3 points. Do me that.

Great support from the lads that went the game. Could hear you all game. Everton that, proud.

Newcastle ? Hahaha now come on villa.... perfect weekend

Great performance from the lads, couldn't have asked for better - although it won't be enough to get anywhere near Liverpool at Anfield. Still though, we're back which is the main thing!

Five years ago today we threw away a 1-0 lead to lose at Fulham yet again under OFM and quite honestly I feared the same at half time as it had kind of the same feel. It's not often we turn up like that when leading away at half time so there's one bogey picked.

Petty as it may sound I'm actually annoyed a bit at McCarthy for the late mistake, especially after such an accomplished performance, it's like we have to have just one last mistake even when victory is certain just to shyt us up - if that had happened at 1-0 with a whole half or so to play then I bet Howard would never have saved that and we'd have been FUUUUUUUUUMING at a frustrating draw.

Good win moving up 8 places to the current 9th place, better 2nd half performance and only 2 points from 3rd now, should have had a few goals 2nd half, but once again when jags and stones have played together,we didnt conceed [i know it hardly happened lol]

Happy days.

Weren't great until we got that second goal, but we defended alright and kept a clean sheet away from home. Jags nailed a few good headers and tackles, which was good to see. Stones also look reasonably solid.

That'll relax the players now after what must have been a tough few weeks. We've got good players returning to fitness and got through that with no injuries, which is also pleasing.

Beat Wolfsburg and I think we can really forget about the start to the season and look at getting ourselves back in the top 6 and through the European group.
