First half was very disjointed but what ever Martinez said at half time worked and we were much better in the second half. 2 lucky goals for differing reasons, but their keeper made a couple of great saves.

Pleased overall, 3 points, clean sheet and we started looking much like our old selves from last season as the game progressed. Bring on Ze Germans!
 

Stones had a very good game - we were fine in spits, and spats Osman took control of the midfield when he came on some good shots too - WBA look like relegation fodder to me!
Barry had a better 2nd half McCarthy pass at the end had me bewildered almost let them score!
 
It was a win and at least we capitilised on there mistakes. Still felt we were vunerable at the back and our full backs basically invited them to cross the ball. We are not firing on all cylinders yet but was very impressed with Barry in the 2nd Half. Mirallas is always a threat, Lukaku is getting back to his best. Osman made a difference when he came on. McCarthy looking dodgy to me and not half the player he was last season.

Every time a cross went in our box I was having kittens.
 
I like Naismith; he's won me over. I like him , but im still not convinced he's a starter. Not for me.

Gives his all, does some dirty work and can finish a few moves but its the simple things that get to me. Takes too many touches at times and fails to release the ball early when better options and angles are on. Three times in that 2nd half he was tackled from behind when in possession on the counter. *sigh*

That miss?? Ok offside anyway ( though would of stood) but that was a howler. That could of been the difference between two sides today. Thats not the first howler he's done either. Still not convinced.

I like him but he isnt a starter for me.
