The defence have been destroyed for 3 weeks for their errors. Fine line for me. Offside? Yes; but it would of counted. Awful miss.

He was average overall. 6/10

If was an awful miss, yeah, and it wasn't his best game.

But for people to say he should suddenly be dropped? Bit of an overreaction to one missed sitter imo.

I like Naismith; he's won me over. I like him , but im still not convinced he's a starter. Not for me.

Gives his all, does some dirty work and can finish a few moves but its the simple things that get to me. Takes too many touches at times and fails to release the ball early when better options and angles are on. Three times in that 2nd half he was tackled from behind when in possession on the counter. *sigh*

That miss?? Ok offside anyway ( though would of stood) but that was a howler. That could of been the difference between two sides today. Thats not the first howler he's done either. Still not convinced.

I like him but he isnt a starter for me.

To be fair Barkley does a lot of the same mistakes.

I thought we looked composed later stages of 2nd half, but it did take Ossie coming on to achieve that win.
He gave us an outlet from defence.

Howard make a couple of fine stops at key moments today.
Away support is amazeballs

For his efforts overall this season, he doesnt deserve to be dropped no. You're right. Good start.
Just sometimes he does the simple things.... the basic things wrong. Frustrating.

3 times mate, 3 times in that 2nd half alone he was caught from behind whilst in possession. When we're a team that relies on the counter heavily at times, Naismith isnt a counter attacking player for me.

Doesnt deserve to be dropped, but thats based on poor efforts from others so far. Fully fit squad though, I wouldnt start him.

First time this season I didn't feel remotely nervous about defence, good work from Martinez in the break.

Good pressing all round, lots of bodies and deflections in the way of their shots, good tracking back from McGeady & Mirallas and also good to see the calm and intelligent Barry return in the 2nd half.

Quite hard to call MOM actually, maybe Howard or Stones?

perfect opportunity to give besic or atsu or another fringe player more playing time, and didnt do it, osman didnt need to come on, he needs the fringe players gaining more confidence, the whole team is still looking rusty, really frustrating watching them, back passing not controlling the ball and knocking it 3 metres off them when passed to them, missed passes, not looking, it was incredible the amount of bad choices or less than accurate play by everton, not good enough, maybe they needed the first win out of the way, but more ruthless, accuracy, speed, disrupt the opposition is needed or it will be a long season I feel. happy for the win,but not the manner of the win, this is not the martinez team of last year, the odd brillant play and then revert to moyesish behaviour, this will not win trophies or get fourth

Important away win and great away support. Gareth Barry man of the match for me followed by Super Kev. I thought Ossie had a great game when he came on. Still important as a squad player. Bring on the european night at Goodison!

Looked a bit ropey first half, and low on confidence. Second half west brom couldnt keep there pressing tempo up and we grew in confidence and controlled the game, loved how miralles was grabbing hold of the game, think hes gonna have an awesome season, aids looked good too that second half.

Normality resumed, now time for some spag bol and a tug. Happy days
