Seen quite a few people come out instead of being quiet and say I wouldn't spend 25m on Lukaku. Have they only just noticed? the guy is shocking in the air, first touch is awful and just moans constantly.

The worst thing was that the equaliser was obviously coming. We're playing a system that relies on the defence playing the ball out into midfield and everything just went straight up the field to Lukaku for a knock down. I'm also surprised how badly we struggled against Anichebe - why didn't he ever do that for us?

Shameful performance. Roberto should make the team bus go straight back to finch farm and make them run circuits of a pitch until the banks open in the morning then bus them down to the bank to withdraw their weeks wages to donate to alder hey.

FFS. That's one of the worst games of football i've ever seen. We had nothing to offer. Back to the Moyes era of kick and rush. Absolutely no creativity; i don't think any player was worth more than 5/10. Seems like the break in the sun did nothing constructive for the squad, and if anything they have come back lethargic. We will have to be a LOT better than this to even take a point off the RS. I only hope that Seamus is ok and that it's not a hamstring.

I'm not having that West Brom were poor. Pepe had them doing everything Betis did to us in pre-season, and it has worked both times. They were quite good I thought.

They did kick the hell out of us. We didn't man up today and take the game by the scruff of the neck. We lacked a driving midfielder to take it to them today. Thought Lukaku was poor.. His first touch was terrible. He didn't like their centre back who ended up scoring. Very disappointed today. Just had that feeling before the game we might drop points. Argh well.. Listening to Roberto after the game I think we will sign a centre mid and striker this window. We need them for sure.

Really poor - game was always going to be turgid with WBA set up like that but that doesn't excuse lack of energy, ideas and basic effort. Definitely doesn't excuse piss poor defending and reversion to hoof ball for last half hour.
Exposes brutally why top 4 or 5 have 20+ genuine first team players in their squads. We have 11 or 12 and simply can't compete when reverting to a past it Osman and the full backs in midfield. Money talks and we don't have any.
