I don't think there was any doubting his ability. As we saw, he holds the ball up excellently, and does a bloody good job when he's motivated, sadly for Victor, he's rarely motivated, and today, being an exception. He did play well, and good for him!

Agree with those bits, but it's not the best management in the world too lump (lump, i say!) that much responsibility on Lukaku.

The January Window's been open for 20 days now...where for art thou striker?

And why not use Vellios?

The ball came to Distin too much rather than Jags and Distin was really badly off on his distribution whether to feet or in the air.

It's not nice to see hoofing but I'm not concerned as it's rare now.

I also don't think they pressed as intently as people are saying. They were just okay I think, but didn't need to be better as we were slow to every 50/50 and made unforced errors all over the place.

It happens, we got a point away. Next game please.

he was always best as a sub, if weve lost that option to replace him and jela with someone better sound, but if that vanishes to other operating costs I'll lose it
 
Didnt see Palace game so can't comment. For me the second half is the worst we've played this season. It happens but given what was at stake I expected a bit more. But you have to take into account our lack of creative option tonight. Squad size showing up right now.

The whole defence looked shaky from start to finish
 
We also really missed Pienaar as a link between the mid field and attack there was just nobody doin that tonight. Mirallas made runs behind lukaku and generally threatened but there was no link play. We can generally survive an do ok with out one of either Ross and Pienaar but with both of em out we are and will continue to struggle

Lukaku was magnificent for 45 mins against West ham and 45 mins v Newcastle. Outside that?...not so much. Vistor looked better than him tonight.

One more thing. All this laughing and joking with the opposition before the game...what's that all about. You don't see the All Blacks having a giggle and a few hugs with their oppo before a game. The All Blacks are winners and are mentally prepped for a game. We go out thinking we're playing mates. At 100 a week, I say **** off to that ****.
 
Well that was a load of ****e. These draws will cost us fourth place. Mind you, it's so difficult at the minute with our injuries and now Coleman is gone for about 6 weeks - if a hamstring? Could we have some luck one day please?
