any point away from home is seen as good by some on here, its the mentality that the players sadly seem to have which is why we haven't a hells chance of top 4, its okay winning when our rivals win, but when they drop points and we play a ****e team we need to get the win.

Had we turned up and played like we normally do we win, but the same problem that we had last season is still here: any club outside the top 10 or so we play/any chance of taking the initative in the top 4 race we **** up. Had W. Brom come out and played us off the park like Sunderland did under Di Canio at home to roaring fans with new manager syndrome I could understand, but they were ****e, their fans were ****e and we just didn't look arsed, no urgency, no movement, no passion, no desire, sluggish on the ball and a cant be arsed mentality all game. The worst ive seen us play all season.
couldnt agree more.

Nicely put

Sh*t Happens man,You can't win them all. Save it for next tue!

Lucky to take anything from tonight. Mirallas was the only player interested in driving us forward. McGeady had a short cameo but reacted and moved cleverly, he will be a good player for us and Roberto will give him that confidence to get the best out of him. Just a pity about his final ball. Going to the game, I was optimistic about 3 points. But that's Everton. Extremely lucky to get a point IMO. Cruised the first half then fatigue set in the 2nd, I've never seen us lose so many 2nd balls in midfield. We need to add quality additions if the ambition is to push for 4th spot. Our front line looks knackered.

I'm a lot less confident going into the derby than I was 2 games ago, put it like that.

Pfft - just what we needed tonight. The managers and players will be upset and know they'll have to go like the clappers against Stevenage and at Anfield. It will also make it clear that we need to sign a couple of players.

And we didn't even lose. We'll go right at them next week and they won't be able to handle it.

Wish I could agree. The losses of Barkley, Pienaar and now most likely Coleman will prove too much as we can't adequately replace them. And of course the derby is before transfer deadline day which will be the day any replacements arrive.

Barkley will start in the derby mate. Pienaar won't be out too long either. McGeady will get fitter by the week, Traore is to come in and address the lack of in form striker - well hopefully - and there will be one or two more ins before the month ends.

We should be sound. Qualify for fourth? Tough ask but we will give it a go.

22 games, 42 points on the board, 9 off the leaders and 1 point behind 4th place. We've just played a team who were playing for the first time in front of their new manager. Not the best performance, i know, but we have not drastically dropped to 8th

Thank you.

We are woefully thin, and this was always a serious trap game with the derby looming, as is the FA Cup. WBA played pretty well for their new gaffer, and we looked tired. Move on. Lots of sweating about the waist in here.

If Ossie handed me a nice shwarma right now, I think I'd kiss him.
