The other two candidates are Spurs and Man U, who obviously are dropping enough points to be a sole point ahead of us and five points behind us respectively.

We are not aiming for Citeh and Chelsea, and for now Arsenal either although I do think Arsenal will starting to drop off. Maybe not enough for 3rd place to be vulnerable but for me it's not impossible.

Good post. I forgot about Man U also losing pace.

Spurs are on a roll since switching managers, hopefully their current form will end soon. With any luck, 4th is still doable. But we need to go on a serious winning streak.

Agree that the top 3 are sewn up.

Like the 1 point from 6 from the Xmas games...it's nothing new this. And it's not a one-off.

It's an indication that we're losing pace. The other 5 candidates are rarely dropping points. With Liverpool also losing pace it might end up being between the Merseysiders to battle it out for 6th spot.

22 games, 42 points on the board, 9 off the leaders and 1 point behind 4th place. We've just played a team who were playing for the first time in front of their new manager. Not the best performance, i know, but we have not drastically dropped to 8th

His point is Osman playing bad didn't make the other players pass the ball straight to West Brom and be unable to trap the ball. It was a bad team performance.

Osman stood out to me we need a few players in bobby doesn't trust his bench or he would of made them subs sooner

People now writing us off in the Derby? Did you see them against Villa? It took Suarez at his very worst to get them level.

8 days until the derby, get one or two in, Barkley and / or deul back and we are set. Lukaku will be well up for it
Say what you want but I'm glad that wasn't the derby game tonight.

People talk about how ****e their midfield is and where we will destroy them but on that showing tonight, I'm glad it wasn't the RS.

Should have buried them when we could have in the first half but it wasn't to be. A draw isn't the end of the world, were 2 points off 4th with 16 games left and all the teams around us will drop points especially away from home like we were tonight. I'm sure everybody would have been happy with that if they were offered that at the start of the season, I know I would have. Not saying people shouldn't debate about what went wrong but some are just bad negative whinges. They were playing for a new manager trying to prove themselves it was never going to be easy. we battered them first half then they deserved a draw for there second half performance.

The pitch was ****e as well...bobbling ball on every bounce. A ****ty pitch is a great leveller. Mind you, us and WBA are very similar standard over the past two seasons..we have played 4 times, drawn twice and lost once and won once. Goals for 3 , goals against 4.

Guess they are a team that just either raise their standard against us, or have an ability to neutralise our style.

Let's be honest though. Tonight, WBA fans are the ones who should be fuming. We were outpassioned and outplayed and burgled a point

Funny the way when we don't get a positive result/performance there is far more discussion and dissecting of the team. I think that's because deep down we all love a good fume at Everton every now and again. Bobby knew this the crafty get! YET ANOTHER reason to love this man...

Don't actually think that's true.

Anyone fancy comparing the total posts made from all the match threads this season? Beer on me for whoever does it
