You look at the bench before the game and it's worrying, we were value for the lead at half time but the home side were always going to have a spell and we just didn't have anyone to come in and respond. McGeady was the only one and he did play well when he came in and probably should have been introduced earlier to give them something else to think about but he's not match fit and the injuries took up the early subs.

We're lucky that it's FA Cup week next up, hopefully we can get some bodies back.

The question is why do Everton fc not have any senior strikers on our books. We´re worse off than West Ham.

Unacceptable for a side chasing top 4 that.

Vellios would have been a decent option today considering the number of long balls we were playing.

Agreed.

We had luck in getting Martinez. Really bad luck would have been getting that tit Rodgers in. Kopites eh? Lets all laugh at them. Ha Ha.

davek has jumped the shark and become a parody of his former self.

Don't think he is getting abuse!! He is well off form and people are pointing it out

I agree, tho'...Sniderman is having a mare tonight.

I don't care what anyone says Osman cost us the game tonight when he lost the ball (most of time) he never tried together it back and if he did try his legs woudnt take him McCarthy was doing osmans job as when Osman lost the ball it was McCarthy having to run back and get the ball all the time

Fair enough but I think if the RS win that'll give them massive momentum, they'll have finally put points between us and will possibly charge off into the sunset.

A draw will do.

I think we can win, but not if that team that was out tonight starts. Get Osman the **** out of there.

Obviously if we lose the derby fourth will look a tall order but on the flipside, if we win everything swings right back in our favour, and we´re well capable of doing that against their Parkinsonian defence.

At worst we would go four points behind with fifteen games to go mate. Its not that bad, although not preferable.

I agree, 4 points is nothing. I won't be writing anyone off, including us until its improbable. I'm actually not a fan of all this 'must get so many points from the next so many games' lark. Its very cliched but can we not just take it one game at a time and react then to ours and results around us?

Yes, some of the passing was poor and the team looked disjointed but West Brom forced us into playing long, they chased everything down all night forcing us to play long. I don't think they wanted to do it.

All of sudden Jags and Distin are 2 yard dogs?? Behave, bad kopite comments on here because we draw against West Brom. It was a game we thought we should have won, we never, move on

Just can't see it mate.

We've been in this position tonnes of times, going into the derby knowing we're capable of a win, looking at the squads on paper and saying we're stronger. It doesn't seem to matter, we never win. Something will happen to go against us, be it further injuries against Stevenage or more likely penalties and red cards in the derby itself.

Draw at absolute best, and to me even that is unlikely.

whats all this about west brom chasing us down? facking hell that's what every opposition side does! they don't just sit about letting us play, we lost because we wasn't fluid enough, too many lazy passes, no passion, no movement, no agility on the ball only Mirallas and to an extent coleman played well. Lukaku got no service and Osman is utter ****

Blaming one man for a lacklustre team performance. You what?
