We never played well at all last night but we took the few chance we had and that made all the difference in contrast to Swansea where I thought we were well worth the points but missed our chances. Can't remember the last time we came from two goals down to win a game. Well done Blues great stuff. Keep it up for the season and I might even get excited.

bloody hell mate, barnsley wasn't that long ago.

Mad game, worst first half I've ever seen, Only Deulofeu looking dangerous. Second half we actually turned up and played well. Deulofeu MOTM for me Galloway had a great game and Rom showed up 2nd was great.

We would have caved and lost that last season, some good young players at this club now. Looking good.

Worst half you've ever seen? Where were you last season and at 90% of the aways under Moyes?

It was ridiculous wasn't it (M6). I was almost fuming as I was driving home. But then I reminded myself on the events of the second half, the progressive delerium as each goal went in, the singing of songs, the hugging of complete strangers after the winner, and all was well again. I refused to get angry on that drive home!

Everything about that post is phenomenal , the singing, hugging of anyone whatsoeverin hugging distance , you could feel it all just happening. Twas something a bit special last night and everyone there from the players, management, coach drivers stewards, barnpots and especially the fans should be so proud of that fantastic second half.
Think I jumped on, hugged, fell over, Laughed with about a hundred different people last night.

Get in lads and we'll done to you all x

Haha

Yea, they were ace. I've seen pipers at either Barnsley or Soton too, possibly both, but don't remember seeing 'em at aways before this season ... they've probably been doing it for years though and I've just never noticed !
You never noticed bagpipes? Doesn't that sound reach into your gaelic soul?

our players should stop throwing their shirts away. They are not cheap!

Started to read this thread from page 60.

Everybody were slating Rom and others too....doom and gloom stuff....BAD SUBS!!!!IM OFF TO BED FFS etc... :D
Then....booom E-BU-TOM

what did we see then...

# poor away performance almost through out the game

But what did we learn....

# never write Rom off! And more so, we shouldnt write Everton off even when were losing...

# wonderful points and good experience for Mori again, slowly he'll get there

# ugly 3 points but good team can win it sneakily

# RS BEHIND US LOL

# BRING ON THE DERBY
#Deulofeu

Nice to know I can always stake a claim to one small part of Everton folklore Mr Woolly!
Yes well done Mikey, remember that first getting sung for James McFadden years ago, and loads of idiots were saying it was cringeworthy and smalltime like they do with every new song.

Galloway looked made up when he heard it, I geniunely believe it makes them more confident which in turn benefits their play and of course Everton. It goes to show that songs don't just happen, people make the effort to make them happen, and that you have to rely on people by you to also make the effort to join in before it's loud.
