How many other teams would not have conceded with only one of their regular back 4, 2 kids from the academy and a player that has just arrived in the UK? An absolutely tremendous comeback. Heads could have gone down but I noticed the likes of Jags, McCarthy and Barry all stepped up to the mark and were encouraging the young players and pointing to players that needed marking.

For me, McCarthy needs a special mentioned, he kept Deulofeu on his toes and was constantly pointing and shouting for him to get back, when needed. Similarly, with Naismith, as limited as a footballer he is, nevertheless, he put in a shift to make sure that Galloway wasn't isolated. That meant our 2 inexperienced full backs were not given a battering.

He didn't have a hand in the second goal at all. Dreadful marking from Jags and Barkley. Rom - maybe a 7 is harsh, but it he was no where near his best. In general, the team wasn't on song yesterday. But we managed to turn it around and showed our quality. Good sign when we weren't playing well.

It was ridiculous wasn't it (M6). I was almost fuming as I was driving home. But then I reminded myself on the events of the second half, the progressive delerium as each goal went in, the singing of songs, the hugging of complete strangers after the winner, and all was well again. I refused to get angry on that drive home!
