What did you think of the Hawthornes and the West Brom fans? I met a few that were vacationing in the States one summer - they were a friendly lot.
I enjoy the Hawthorns. The atmosphere from the home fans last night was really good - better than Goodison for most of our games. The fans I spoke to before the game were not particularly happy with Pulis and his defensive approach and would prefer someone else in.

What got me was when they announced 5 mins injury time, there was nary a peep from the home fans

If we were a goal down at Goodison and saw we had 5 minutes to score, I'd expect a reaction of some kind from the crowd

Weird

I suppose it's hard to get excited about an extra 5 minutes of football when Pulis is your manager.

Don't suppose anyone has a clip of the end after the whistle, Kone comes over to the fans and the camera was behind him facing the fans.

We were front row and i'd love to see it. Esp after a lorry hit us on the way home!:rant:

Great night overall! Thought our support was very quiet first half, but understandably so. I'd like to blank out most first halves this season!

Deulofeu made the difference, along with Jags and Galloway for me. Barry did a lot right AGAIN too.

Amazing when that third went in!! YESSS!!!!!

4points from Swansea n WBA away not bad.. Should be 6 really as we battered Swansea.. Im made up we've had a decent start but keep thinking why didn't we just beat Watford n extra 2points that could be vital come the end of the season.

But anyway lets keep up the good start with a win on Sunday!!!!
We played better at Swansea even though we won last night not as fluid but we had Delboy who was deadly those crosses will fetch us loads of goals, but hey 2-0 down a 3-2 win glosses over our bad performance at times but who cares!

We had some good moments (particularly from Gerry and Lukaku towards the end), but overall our performance was poor. Good teams win when they play poorly though, and that is something I haven't seen enough of from Bobby's teams. I am glad to see us pull it out, and good to see Gibson back in the team.
