We were massively improved second half when Allan came on. That VAR scare at the end aside, that’s as comfortable as I’ve felt at a goal up.

Always going to struggle to win by a big margin the way wba set up.

Great 3 points. I understand it is has been a hectic couple weeks, but if we want to play in Europe we gotta get used to the schedule. Terrific team win, Everyone on the pitch put in a hard working shift. #UTFT MOTM: He only cost $50 million.

For me we still look disjointed, as I watched WBA had a few breaks up field and they looked fluid and that’s WBA. We look like we huff a puff to much but some how we seem to be scraping wins, but imo our play isn’t convincing one bit.

I was thinking similar during the match. Loads of grinding 1-0's. Would be good to find some fluency before the end of the season.

That Allan sub into a diamond was key, proof that just one more energetic midfielder or wide player in this team can really start to dominate games. Until then we’re gonna have to see out games like we do.

....I think it’s physically tough to play so many games in a short space of time of this intensity, it really is. Saw United & Leicester last night. It’s genuinely about points over performance, the Baggies are fighting for their PL existence. Leicester & United drew, we won.

MoM clearly Richarlison, thought the big lad up top was a real handful for them & Godfrey just about managed it with another 7/10 performance.

Richarlison brilliant...but for me Godfrey was an absolute rock + calming the players + driving them forward...

For MOTM, thought Keane had a really solid game, and Godfrey was strong again, but gone for Allan, got us some control in 2nd half, and got us further up the pitch. COYB.

Agree. Allan was the difference in the second half and gave us a measure of control. A tackling/clearance maniac.
