The match wasn't on the tv overhere so couldn't watch it but was following it on got and through livescore. Rather funny that when we went ahead I felt rather comfortable that we could pull through while when we were in situations like that about a year ago I would bet everything I own that there would at least be an equaliser .

Boring game to start off with, but we kept at them and got the goal. 1-0 a good result in the end.

West Brom drew at Anfield and the Etihad and took points off United. Southampton beat Liverpool and drew with Chelsea recently. There’s no easy games in the premier eagle. Even Sheffield United won at Old Trafford. Our competitors aren’t beating all these teams that we ‘have’ to be beating.

I don't disagree. It's lovely to dream - but my eyes tell me that sooner or later we will be caught playing the way we do. It's not sustainable.

The attacking fluency really seems to have gone, but we've developed the ability to grind out wins this season, which is great. It is strange where the sexiness of the early weeks of the season has gone though.

Liverpool have scraped past a lot of teams in the past few seasons. Of course we can get top 4. Also VAR did not get us out of jail. It was offside and the linesman saw it.

Yes, of course we can get top four, but personally, I wouldn't be staking too much money on it. A puncher's chance - which is more than we have any right to expect.
