This technically is our game in hand, Most teams around us are on 26, top 3 are on 27.

Yeah, it was towards that top 3 on 27 games. We play our rearranged Villa game and get 3 points...sit 3rd with 49 points with 27 games played.

Good to be in the mix

I think James will play, WBA will have 1 maybe 2 players sent off and we win 6-0

More likely we draw 0-0

I wouldn’t say there’s pressure. It’s not like we’re expected to finish 4th. I think Carlo will just tell them to go out there, and stick to the game plan. If anything the rest of the season should be played with confidence and enjoyment, we’ve got the talent and players are in form at the moment I don’t think we should fear anyone, anything could happen.

Only pressure will be coming from the fans who may possibly be over expectant. Our aim has always been just getting Europe (Europa or new UEFA Competition) anything after that is a major bonus. Even if we only pick up a point tonight it’s not the end of the world for us.

100%

For me anyway was the idea of just being in the mix, upsetting folk

Utd are on a bad run won 2/8 surprised me that. They play City next but know Utd they will win that

They haven't lost a ton of ground to anyone except City banging out draws against the top half while motoring on in the cups.

Where they hurt themselves was in the disastrous loss to Sheffield and the bad draws to WBA and Palace. Like us, they've been up and down all season with plenty of bad losses sprinkled in amongst the big wins.

We can point at injuries. They can't. I think they're in for some trouble this time next season if they have to contend with both fatigue and a rash of injuries.

I'm not sure a draw is all that useful for West Brom so you'd think even with their Manager's reputation they'll have to try and get at us at some point which will hopefully open up space for us to exploit.

I've no idea who will play, it's a busy week for the squad.

A comfortable win would be nice ;)

This is the time in the season when the teams that looked doomed to relegation suddenly discover a bit of spine and start playing like Brazil. This is one of those games. The thought of seeing Fat Sam being interviewed on Sky with his smug face after winning this game would be enough for thousands of viewers to put their boot through the telly. I bought a 4K 55” TV just before Xmas. I’d like a few more months out of it please. I hate relying on Everton.

West Brom were a farcical VAR decision and 2 missed penalties away from another bad result at the weekend, they will be more focused on Newcastle this weekend. We are bang on form away from home, we score early then I don’t see the Baggies getting back into it

Out of these next 2 games this one is the better chance of winning and getting the 3 points so i think Carlo should go all out for this tonight with his strongest possible team. We have been guilty of bolloxing up these going 4th opportunities this season by not taking them serious enough. Hit them hard right from the whistle with our strongest team and get the job done as fast as possible. Then enjoy being right in the mix for Europe qualification and go into the Chelski game full of confidence and belief.

COYB's.

Done a bit of a recce round the hawthornes and this is the lineup they'll be using:
