Would people be surprised if I said that Gomes is winning a significant amount of tackles per 90 more than Doucoure and at a higher rate as well? Because I would have been 6 months ago but that is actually where we are.

I would say that the data isnt showing 'tackles' in that case.

If we're starting Bernard and Iwobi then I would have liked to see what King could do with 90 minutes as well.

I like the idea of having both Iwobi and Bernard against West Brom. They’ll actually try and beat a man to open up space from time to time. Cant imagine Kings pace helping us too much tonight as I suspect West Brom line up in a 9-0-1 formation.

Main thing is the 2 big men up front. Midfield and defence just have to stay disciplined and tidy and the chances should come. We have 2 big goal threats up top so can’t see WBA pushing too high. COYB
