Why is everyone saying 442? It could be, but it also looks 352 with Digne and Iwobi as wing backs...

I wonder if he’s gonna play it as an assymetrical formation like in the derby
We know they’re going to set up as two blocks of four and focus on being well drilled
He might be counting on the ability to overload one side and pull them out of position

I would say that the data isnt showing 'tackles' in that case.

Yeah of course it is the data that is wrong and not the preconceived notions.

My point is I think more people see Doucoure for what they think he is and not what he actually is. And what he actually seems to be is not much of a ball winner.

Its great to be going into a league game that has a big effect on the top places in the league so late in the season. Just another 1-0 win will do nicely with Allan getting back to full fitness for the run in and hopefully James too.

I don’t think Carlo expects this battle to be won in midfield tonight. It looks to me like he’s going for the direct and get in behind approach if Bernard and Iwobi are on the wings. Obviously we all know Sam won’t use his midfielders anyways.

James whole Everton career has been a week off. Misses too many games for me . Quality player but no good sitting at home.

21 games, 5 goals, 8 assists.

He got a kick to the bollocks that kept him out for a spell.

Even if he only plays half our matches he is still the best player we have in all of them.
