As usual, a distinct lack of quality in the top third. Toil more than talent but those are the players we have. DCL seems to be playing in 2nd gear, yet when Beto comes on his failings are immediately obvious. Good having Branthwaite back, I just feel he improves us.
Young had a difficult challenge but kept his decent run of form going, Pickford saved us at the end to maybe skew a few MoM votes but I’m going for Mangala as my choice. I thought he was calm in possession and at least tried to keep the ball.
Our season might be dependent on Broja.

I think Mangala is cool hand Luke and poised. Always forward thinking. Perhaps a tad slow but his strengths outweighs the bad.
We were crap end of negative poor football our stars were Pickford MOTM & our retuning CB Bradwaite our left back can't defend & can't cross a ball....

…it was certainly a dire watch, Joey, I’ll give you that but I looked at the half-time stats and we were ahead of them in respect of shots. Sometimes it’s not about systems or selection, it’s about how good your players are and we are void of quality in the top third.
Maybe Ndiaye could be tried at no10, but i don’t get your shouts of playing 2 up front, certainly not until Broja is available.
