Rugby refs are in control and seem confident in their decisions and just explain them to the players and crowd. In football they look clueless and make decisions based on crowd reaction and fear

And fear of not promoting 'the brands' and upsetting the tv paymasters.

Today was a great win, Thought missed chances as always may end up costing us. But i have to say that Areola save from Doucoure was one of the saves of the season for me

Tremendous save, under appreciated just how good that save was. Usually I’d be ringing Doucoure for a lack of intelligence to go closer. But he has struck the ball as sweetly as he could ask for, for the keeper to get down low to that pace of shot was exceptional. Absolutely exceptional.

I did say early on I fancied us for this and so it turned out.
I went Branthwaite for MotM, though if Pickford had a poor game we were toast, but he didn't and we weren't.

Burnley next - Do we go 'All In' for a win?

Branthwaite was excellent, but having Tarks next to him made it easier on the lad and Pickford kept us in the game……

Just home now. Massive 3 points and a very good performance. The back 5 were superb .. Patterson looked a little shaky early on but settled and played very well … Branthwaite looked so composed in every thing he did and winning the tackle that made the goal … much more positive ..COYB
