I believe that the principle of 'Don't change a winning side' keeps going through his head, while ignoring everything on the pitch. It's a blinkered perspective.

These players may have performed well, however they're waning: they won't continue to play effectively if they're running on absolute empty.

West Ham have brought players on, so they now have the impetus. If we want to win this, we need to continue to threaten West Ham on the break...
