It was a much better performance than last week from the players.

I went for Godfrey as MotM but it must be said even in a game where there were no outright bad performances that Coleman embarrassed some of his teammates with his enthusiasm and intelligence. It's just a pity the quality wasn't always there when he needed it.

DCL won everything in the air. As the game went on his performance got better, he showed some really good vision in his passing which I haven't seen since earlier in the season.

So I'm pleased with the result, that's all that matters especially at this point in the season.

We now have 3 very winnable games coming up. I hope we get it right in tactics and effort for them.

That was a hard watch again yesterday, another good away win but bloody awful to watch. We can't seem to string any possession together, it will take a total mentality change from the players to improve on this next season and at least 3 good signings.

I'm sure Carlo and Brands know this, we are super defensive because of the lack of trust Carlo has. So confident I was off keeping a clean sheet with 15 mins to go I jumped in the shower, partly because I was bored stupid.

Results are key right now. Running on fumes in many ways. It’s not beautiful but it’s two wins from two in London.

Good 3 points yesterday. Rewind to before the villa game I was looking at our run-in and had us down as a win against villa but a loss against West Ham.
Yesterday just put my expectations back on track! (7th place with 62 points)

Chance at their first ever Champions League win just six days later though. They'd be mad to risk key players against us if we're playing for something.

Imagine he plays De Bruyne and Dias and they both get bad knocks?

To add, imagine a weird scenario where if we win we'd deny Liverpool top four... If I were City I'd be throwing the game.
Exactly. Plus seen it many times before that once a team secures the title they psychologically relax even if they don't intend to and their form dips. Happened to the RS last year for example

Great performances from those just in front of the back line - Seamus and Allan in particular had 9/10s.

Special mention to Richy, who terrorised Dawson all game. Him and DCL need a sit down parlez. Sometimes it feels like they are avoiding eachother on the pitch out of competition for goals/attention/both.

Typical for us this season - much more dangerous on the counter. Just need those summer additions to make us more comfortable on the ball and get us higher up the pitch, so we can play our football over the full 90 rather than in 10 minute spells.

If only we could have won more of those home games. We'd be well up there

TBF City's 2nd string is still marvellous, can imagine Pep saying to them prove me wrong and earn yourself a place in the final. They'll still be too much for us I think and I hope that we're not hanging our hat on picking up points by that point to get euro qualification.
