That is one thing i would find pretty much impossible to do-i have to watch Live without fail whatever the time [watched the Juventus friendly few years back that was a 4am ko here but was then a delayed ko and even missed the start for work as was not missing pens] ,
if that was me i would find out the score then if i had actually recorded the game just go to the min the goals were scored in lol as could not sit there the whole game on Tape thinking if we are ahead did we hold on etc
Yes, I know what you mean. Years ago, before football was live on TV, I used to get up during the night and listen to the commentary on BBC World
Service. It wasn't always Everton ,but they crossed to grounds getting the scores.

Now, if I wake up while the match is on I sometimes go and see what the score is. Well, not the score, but I cover Everton's score and see what 'their'
score is. If it's 0 or even 1 I'm still hopeful. Sounds mad, I know, but we all have our own way of doing it if you can't be at the game.

Bedtime, fingers crossed.

Just had a look through West Ham's previous results to see their form. Since we beat them 4-1 back in September the only teams to have beaten West Ham have been Man Utd x3, Liverpool x2, Chelsea x2, Man City & Newcastle. So they definitely don't get beaten very easily.
We're going to need a freak result to get anything out of this one. The table may say we're only 6 points behind with a game in hand but we're miles behind West Ham in terms of quality and consistency at the moment.
I might have talked myself out of even watching this one.

Someone is going to get the backlash from our poor performances and run of form.
Todays the day we play well and win comfortably 2-0

I just never got into rugby as a game though it's easy to see how it's a much 'cleaner' sport in so many respects.

I still love the game of footie itself but it's far too adulterated at the top level and there are too many 'experts' and too many pointless stats involved in the presentation.
Just at saturation point on TV and the rolling round and screaming in faux pain when players are tripped has just been highlighted by the pandemic coverage without the crowd noise to mask it.

Just looked at the quotes and replies on this forum from last Thursday night. FACT - 64% backing a Moyes win. 21% backing a Carlo win. And 15% sat on the fence.

Backing a Moyes win is the easy option since he is currently a high performing manager

Found a £20 note in a car park last night, so stuck £10 Hammers win at 6/5. { get my money back bet } and £10 Hammers 2-0 win for £130 return. With an Everton win, am in a win/win scenario! Still a happy weekend. { unless a draw } ha ha.
