I worry that we're down with the current level of forward 'threat' we offer.

Couldn't believe we went through the summer as we did. Didn't need IGG, or the lad from Burnley.

Yes 'build from the back' etc - but teams know they can play 2 or 3 at the back and cope with our forward line. So our slightly improved defence is under the cosh for 90 mins week in week out, where confidence is now draining away.

The only good news is we're little more than half way through the season. There is time in both Jan for 2 x forwards and a run could keep us up.

Without that, neither Lampard nor half of the squad will remain after relegation and we're ripe for a lesser known manager that wants (and can) build a team.

It’s gonna take some fight to get out of this now. Awful performance today. Arsenal and the goblins next. I can only hope we beat Leeds and kick on from there

So if Frank is staying... Give him a wig and promote him to Tea lady... And let the Tea lady take training tomorrow at 06.30 sharp, if the players are no worse in the next game (or even get a win ?) then we know Frank is on a par as a manager with the Tea lady AND she gets the job.

Have been reading this forum from afar for years but finally had to register today as the latest defeat put me over the edge.

I feel for Frank but also feel his time is up. A Dyche, Allerdyce, Hughes or Bruce is what's needed now to keep us up but purely on a short term basis.

A club who invented dugouts simply cannot be allowed to go down and I do feel that with Frank we are sleep walking into relegation.
