I've just got back having waved fairwell to The Boleyn Ground. A bit of an anti-climax considering some of the great days Evertononians have had there over the years.
Barkley was poor again for me and I wasn't happy with Martinez taking Deolofeu off, a winner was definetley on the cards. Lennon is just not very good at all either. He just runs a lot.
All in all, not a day that will live long in the memory.

To be honest we didn't do enough to win. Barkley was very poor, had he played better I think we would of won. Watching Everton is a stressful business, I even went back to my catholic roots and prayed in the pub for a result. Everyone was looking at me like I was a lunatic, but my mate is a loudmouth cockney West Ham fan. I couldn't bare seeing him in the week had we lost. After last years defeat on penalties he didn't shut up about it until March about it. Deulofeu was excellent and was unlucky not to have set up more goals, Barry was also excellent. On another day we could got a few more, we were unfortunate to have conceded the goal when we did. I'm not too upset about a draw away at a team who have beaten Liverpool, Arsenal, City and Chelsea we just have to try and improve at home.

So is being called a Kopite so is being ridiculed for saying Koeman and Hughes would do a good job here yet when offering my reasoned response I haven't heard back yet I don't see you calling them. I only started by saying that today was our 50ty game since the end of the glorious 13/14 season and we have won 16 of them and with this squad IMHO that isn't good enough although it seems many think it is. Which I consider to be a shame

I only stated a while ago that 16 wins in 50 pl games isn't good enough and people who disagreed escalated from there and i have tried to stand my corner
