KNEW we should have started with Wright. Another poor decision from Curbs.

But when Cole scored, and towards the end of the half leading up to their goal, we just dropped far far too deep, which allowed Arteta - who alone is more creative than our whole midfield - and Pienaar much more time on the ball to formulate Everton's attacks, with the latter picking up Osman's assist.
Everton are fantastic at shutting out the opposition when leading. On the other hand, if we pinch a goal, our approach to leading the game needs to change, because the pressure we invited brought the inevitable equaliser.
Their midfield looks very good, the south african lad in particular...
Radio just made a good point about the difference in quality between our benches. Could make a big difference in the last 20.
its not all bile which is very pleasing, a few of them seem to know their football and are prepared to speak honestly.
thats a novelty that will never wear off.
Did Yakubu get booked for over celebrating?

Everton beat us - deservedly - in 3rd gear. Pretty disappointing all told.
Theres a West Ham fan who posted a 'summary' of our games unbeaten and he describes Cahills goal vs Chelsea as a 'poxy goal'
Gotta agree with the post above about how much further along the line Everton are. They have one of the best managers in the league in charge, have been developing their team for a long while now, and they play some good football. Remember a few years back we used to lose about 8-0 regularly to Everton, and that was when they were sh*t fringe relegation candidates and had people like Kevin Campbell and Naysmith in the team. Things have improved.
