If the price is as low as they say, it could be worth looking at purely on an opportunistic level but with Ancelotti saying Gbamin might be back for the start of the season I don’t know if Brands would make a punt for the sake of it. I personally would like to see it happen mind
 
I dont even think we need a destroyer.

We have Delph and Davies who both get around the pitch, we have Gmblammo who is meant to be a destroyer of sorts, what we lack is a creative player, we don't have any CM who can create in the squad. Gomes can create, but he's more of a transitional player rather than a door unlocker.

IMO we lack somebody who can unlock doors.

Gbamin is a dm though this fella seems more box to box and we need a box to box player.

If we ever move to a 3 yeah we’ll need a box to box. If we bought Allan and McKennie, Gbamin legs start working, things are looking much better in terms of our midfield. Shouldn’t be too expensive either, we need to move Delph or Sig on though
 
I'm a Yankee, and I can't recall him doing anything memorable for us.

Any player is worth it at the right price. However, given that we have limited funds I agree that what we need (and particularly to play Carlo ball) is real playmakers that can provide service to the strikers. Right now, we're far more dangerous on the counter than we are in actual possession of the ball.

sell delph for 5 mill if possible asap

In principle yes, but two of those three do have major fitness concerns. Agree a creator is needed regardless.
 
All you salty brits! Trying to ruin our Independence Day for the 4th Of July talking bad about the American! Still upset after all these years we won with pitch forks and fire? Bring him on! More balls and grit than any other midfielder we currently have :coffee:
