We have Delph and Davies who both get around the pitch, we have Gmblammo who is meant to be a destroyer of sorts, what we lack is a creative player, we don't have any CM who can create in the squad. Gomes can create, but he's more of a transitional player rather than a door unlocker.

IMO we lack somebody who can unlock doors.

Tbf Bradley could have been a half decent player if he would have settled at one club and not went back to MLS for the money.

McKennie is a way better prospect though. This current generation of American players is going to change the stereotype a bit I think, even if none are "world class."

Yeah I was thinking that when typing it, getting 2 midfielders that work perfectly is going to be very hard.

I think playing this system means we have to sacrifice something from that area. I'd probably go with the attacking stuff because I trust Richarlison and Dom to do the work there.

My problem with it is Gbamin is recovering from an achilles and could be out until next Spring. So we've got Gomes, New CM, Delph, Davies and maybe Sigurdsson. That's real weak to me. I'd rather add another CM and have to go with the 4 wingers we have than add a winger and have to go with those four and even one new guy.
