I do like a bit of Deftones.
Favourite album @Gwladys St. Glory @ijjysmith @goodisonopheliac ?
I'm an Around the Fur guy myself. I've always preferred Steph's guitar riff oriented stuff than the electronic experimental stuff that Chino seems to prefer.
I am not fully in on all of the albums. The first 3 and then Gore (as that was the first one that came out while I liked them) are the ones I'm familiar with properly. The rest I know the singles. I really like Adrenaline tbh.Saturday Night Wrist. But every album of theirs is quality with the exception of the debut.

It's when it gets overly atmospheric and electronic that it can lose me with Deftones, White Pony is my limit but even then I prefer the faster paced songs like Elite on there. I also prefer screamy Chino to whispery Chino. But I will give Koi No Yokan a go, Swerve City is a belter. I think when it comes to checking out a different Deftones record I will probably go Diamond Eyes first off the back of Rocket Skates and Diamond Eyes.Koi No Yokan is one of their best, you should check that out if you haven't already. I really can't stand the tinny production on Adrenaline, and Chino's voice sounds weak. It has some pretty good tunes at it's core though, just doesn't meet that standard that they've set since then imo.
