Sound the New AFI klaxon

I never thought I would be in a position to say this but I have recently been listening to Poppy's latest album and I have to say it's an absolute belter!
I vaguely knew who she was in the past and quite enjoyed her gimmick especially when being interviewed by middle aged daily newscasters who had no idea what they were dealing with, she kind of reminded me of Andy Kaufman in a weird way where everything was really awkward and you didn't know what was real and what was not. (I know there were some grim weird life issues going on behind the scenes too)
Her music wasn't for me though (although Lowlife is a tremendous pop song in my opinion) but since she went all metal I have been meaning to check the album "I Disagree" out and it's so good.

Real name Irene Green. A great voice she had. I wrote about her in one of my books. Lovely looking girl as well.

The live Wembley 2007 DVD has a fantastic version of it, if you haven’t seen it already. The version of “Skin and Bones” from the same concert is also fantastic.

Currently listening to the underrated but fantastic Pavement. What a fantastic band they were live also.
This was their final album released in 1999. Is sad when “Carrot Rope” fades out, as you’re hearing their time as a band do the same thing too.
