Germany has Die Toten Hosen so yes, they occupie a top place in the world of rock, but i disagree with Chile, rockstars there are mostly Argentines

Germany also has hugely-influential Mucke like Can, Neu, Tangerine Dream, Rammstein, Neubauten and many more. Surely above Australia & Argentina in the pantheon, tho' maybe it depends how loosely we're defining rock.

I grant you Chile being below Argentina, you're right about Argentine bands' influence over there. Also considering the great folk musik of Violeta Parra, Victor Jara, and more latterly Pascuala Ilabaca as rock may be pushing it.

Chile at least present Los Tres & Los Prisioneros...plus Tom Araya was born there lol

I cannot get enough of this. I was a fan - albeit not a massive fan - of their previous work but this new album is fantastic. Genuinely incredible. I hear a lot of Ride and Slowdive here and it's phenomenal.

This rivals Ride - Vapour Trail in terms of greatest intros. Love it.

I really loved Sunbather but I'm not mad on the other 2. I'm a complete mark for anything Morrissey though so this is great for me. I think Great Mass of Colour is the best thing on it with Mombasa a close second. I'm glad George, the vocalist, has kept bits of the black metal shrieks to accent certain passages like the end of the two tracks I mentioned.
