They're a good band, the only slight sticking point is the singer being jailed for attempted murder when he was in a previous hardcore band lol

Doesn't get more hardcore than that though!

A like a bit of 'actual life experience' in my depressing music - rather than fabricated anguish

They’re like a cross between an American grunge band and a British Indie band.

That and former bassist Nick Basset's decorated controversies through his Whirr side-project.

I like Nothing but their albums have got progressively worse since the debut. It's difficult for a shoegaze band to keep things fresh per new releases and each one of their records sounds identical to the previous, with less power.
