We've had this argument before and yep.So you put him ahead of Freddie Mercury and Mick Jagger as a lyricist and front man!
Come off it!!!
For what I want from my front man and lyricist.
Give me peak Moz over either of them.
Especially Jagger.

I'm guessing Stoke by the name of the group ?I like that very much too, where are they from ?

'Moz' is the most monotone singer I have ever heard! Every song vocals sound the same. We've had this argument before and yep.

Sorry fella but I'll have the guy who penned "I Know It's Over" over the guy who wrote "Fat Bottomed Girls".'Moz' is the most monotone singer I have ever heard! Every song vocals sound the same.
And to put him in the same bracket as Freddie Mercury - well, I'll have some of what you're havin', cos it must be something powerful! lol
I feel genuinely sorry for you thinking that 'Maz' is the greatest singer and front man the UK has ever produced.Sorry fella but I'll have the guy who penned "I Know It's Over" over the guy who wrote "Fat Bottomed Girls".

Tell me you know nothing about The Smiths without telling me you know nothing about The Smiths.
I also want to shout out Robert Plant who is also better than the 2 you mentioned.
You do realise these are opinions right?I feel genuinely sorry for you thinking that 'Maz' is the greatest singer and front man the UK has ever produced.
I know a lot more about music than you probably realise and have listened to a lot more of the Smiths than you probably realise...
I saw Robert Plant and Led Zep just after LZIII came out, on the Liverpool Stadium. Plant is just a shouter and a screamer. I've also seen Paul Rodgers (of Free and Bad Company) live, and he totally eclipses 'Maz' and Plant.
Anyway, do continue with your convoluted view of who the greatest singer the UK has ever produced. It's giving me a good laugh here!
