That early stuff is great. Went a lot poppier on ‘El Camino’, but not to its detriment. Love all their stuff. Very little filler on any of their albums, despite being so prolific. Love ‘em! ??

did you ever get to see the Parliament/Funkadelic/Clinton P-Funk groove thang mate? - i was mad on them around late 80s, went to Belgium about 1991 to see them. you needed some stamina because they were on stage for about 3 hours or more. amazing stuff.
