I’ll bring my ear plugs and back pain pills.Do it!
I liked that album - had a lot more ambition and scope without deserting the pop-punk melody. Not listened to it in an absolute age so might whack it on when I'm done listening to this.....Yeah, they've released the first single back with Tom. It's called Edging. And it's as bad as it sounds.
Have you not heard the self titled Blink album in that case? That's the one with I Miss You on it. It's more grown up pop punk, similar to what Tom was doing at the time with Box Car Racer (his emo side project which is really good).
For me they're the best to ever do it in that genre and the golden era is exactly that. Also their come back with Skiba (California) is really good.
You should defo have a listen of that box car racer album if you haven't already btw it's surprisingly good
I owe these guys an apology. I grew up seeing them as everything I hated about pop music but never realised they did stuff like this.
Guys, you'll always be The Tossers to me! (One for the oldies here)
