Finally got round to listening to the Led Zeppelin back catalouge, and here's 5 ridiculously good songs I've never heard before.

Albums ranking :

III
Physical Graffiti
In Through The Out Door
IV
I
Houses of the Holy
II
Prescence

5. Carouselambra. Wow. Ten minutes of synthy rock genius.

4. Communication Breakdown. The original Banger?

3. Misty Mountain Hop. So good. You can't help but feel better about Everton after listening to this.

2. Ten Years Gone. The best bands have sounds way ahead of their time, and this is a perfect example.

1. Celebration Day. The 1,2, 3 opening track punch on III is incredible, and rounded out by what I reackon is their greatest song. It's like they're all just messing about until Bonham and Jones pick it up and smash it into a beautiful, driving, uplifting shape.

Gonna run us through that very fine piece of kit? Please.
No problems.
From the top ( of the stack);
Rega P6 with Ania moving coil cartridge
Naim CDX 2
Naim 282 Pre Amp
NAPSC , Rega Neo and Naim Hi Cap DR Power Supply Units,
Naim XPS DR PSU
Naim 250 DR power amp.

Not shown Trichord Dino phono amp and Wilson Benesch Arcs loudspeakers.

It has taken me quite some time to get my system to this level and apart from future upgrades to the turntable and speakers that's probably it for me

So, it is a good system with in my opinion excellent sound quality but it definitely isn't the best you can get. Not even near it. @Kev The Rat system knocks spots off mine , in fact his cables probably cost more than my system!

Have you heard the the 555DR? That was a huge upgrade over the XPSDR for me. Bigger than going from 282 to 252.

No I don't think I have Kev unless it was in a statement or 500 demonstration, neither of which had a CD player in the system if I remember correctly.
I think the statement had the top of the range streamer and the 500 had the solstice ( OMG I would love that but £16k is tough to justify lol).
Actually think that I'm getting to the end of my upgrade journey . I would love an LP 12 but not sure that I can be doing with the faffing around with them. They seem very sensitive and need constant TLC and I'm not technically minded.
So I think a P8 or P10 will be it. A few years ago I let a friend have a vintage Micro Seiki DD 40. I don't think he uses it and I quite fancy getting it back and having it totally refurbished but how it would compete against a modern TT I don't know.
So far as speakers are concerned, of course I will do home demos and currently have Splendor D7 and B&W 702 on my list.
