At my local record shop the process is to stand in line where they will hand out a list. You tick the ones you want and then when you reach the front, hand over the list and they will see if they have them left or not. I can’t decide if this is a better process than a free for all. It seems ridiculous.

It started out with the best of intentions in supporting local record shops but has basically become a money making exercise for scalpers.

There is a massive (and correct) argument that RSD has done a lot more harm than good

It started with good intentions, and I've had some great days at phonica records, but now it's turned completely into what they were supposedly against
 

Arsenal player Eddie Nketiah made a tune, not my kind of music but it's actually quite professional sounding for what it is, better than most UK stuff in this genre as well imo. Guess with all his money he can afford to pay for professional-sounding beats.

Usually, when a footballer tries to MC it's a spectacular trainwreck, quite surprising really.
