Quite a recent discovery for me. They're pretty decent.

Seem to be getting better too. It's quite surprising they're even still a band or all of them are alive. They were all heroin users until the other year, and they all went rehab. I saw them on the tour before they got clean and they were an absolute mess, asking the audience for dealers numbers etc. they still managed to hold the music together though

My favourite band is Spacemen 3.

Glad to hear they've sorted themselves put.

Yeah I saw she has got huge since Coachella. I gave her album a go, didn't mind some parts of it but not fully my thing. She has a cool look
Pre Coachella. When she supported Olivia Rodrigo on her US tour. She got her cool look from a London drag club believe it or not. I'd fallen out if love with modern pop but Chappel and Tyla got me back into it.

Did you catch Charlie earlier on IPlayer?

Ah cool, when I saw her I thought her music was going to be a bit more haunting/twin peaks prom queen kind of thing.

Yeah, it's weird how they can come out of nowhere too. Two pretty unique styles too.

Saw the majority of it as I didn't know it was on iPlayer, banging as always. We're thinking about going to see her but it's only seating tickets left which is putting us off

I missed Charlie unfortunately. My lot were on immediately before her and I had to interrupt making tea to watch them. So by the time I'd finished cooking and eating her set was over. Hopefully they'll stick it on IPlayer later. Most of the other sets are on there so I'm sure they will. I did catch Raye's set last night. Not really my thing normally but with a full production behind her it was very impressive.

Not sure about how Tyla's quick rise came about as I only really know her big singles. I should listen to more really but I just like looking at her to be honest. I find her music similar to a lot that's out there at the moment. Chappel is real old school pop though. Real catchy and camp. I thought her album was the best of 2023, but the massive rise this year was the result of TikTok i think. There were loads of viral videos of pre teen Olivia fans singing along to some very raunchy lyrics lol

Not sure if you caught this live performance. She's just stunning.
