Probably my favourite new song I've heard this year, and yes I first heard it straight after a Slowdive binge so it makes sense.
Debate is on so naturally this song is in my head:

I like that a lot, especially the guitars.
Just looked them up, described as " post metal " - never heard of that before ?

I enjoyed that but it did remind me of the beginning of a comedown.
They're a blackgaze band mostly. They were the first band of that genre, a mix of Black Metal and Shoegaze. Sort of like Deafheaven.
The lead man is a colossal Slowdive fan, as you can tell.
This song is absolutely gorgeous.

That's a better example of them being Post-Metal, more expansive, elongated songs. Usually a little bit too proggy for my liking but I like these. Flamme Jumelle in comparison to Amethyste is a pop song.
