Are you a Modern Baseball fan @Parker NSNO ? I forgot they existed until someone mentioned them on twitter but i used to listen to them quite a bit.
I like the singles but a lot of the album tracks lose me.
Tbf though, I haven't tried them in a while and I ended up getting The Menzingers on second try so you might have just provided todays listening mate.
Terrible album name thoughThere is The Hotelier from that emo revival period too but I'm sure you will be aware of them. Saw them live at the time.
Home, like NoPlace is there is a great album.
Terrible album name though
I remember someone raving about it on a podcast I listen to and everyone buggering up the album name because it's so weirdly written.Ahaha, I didn't realise how bad it was until I typed it out
I have been listening to Joe Walsh lately - I first saw him on TOTP with the James Gang in the early 1970's with then a minor hit Walk Away - I was hooked then - what a great guitarist he really is plus song writer still going at the age of 70 years old -
To me, he went there to save himself he was zonked on Vodka etc etc - almost died - the Eagles act now is like the Joe Walsh band - his stuff with the James Gang & his solo stuff with Barnstorm was his best era - He still before Covid does his own act with accomplished musicians some from Barnstorm - his voice is obviously going a bit , but his gutair playing is brilliant - he convinced Jimmy Page to not just use a Strat & sold him his Gibson guitar...... His mother was a musician & he played Oboe in an orchestra when he was a young kid .... I found an early live bootleg gig on Youtube of the James gang before they were really famous - wow - Joe was always going to make it....Improved the Eagles which took some doing.
