Infact has anyone ever been to The Elk once you get off the Glenshane pass on the way to Belfast. It looks way too big to service the area around it. It gives off if you build it they will come vibes

It’s like any country really, around the edges are ok but the midlands are pointless, featureless places full of crooked faced people with limited vocabulary.

They should flood the midlands and put on water sports or boat trips or something. Any county not touching sea does not need to be part of the polo shaped utopia.

As a guy said to me before the further from the sea the stranger people are

West Cork and Kerry are nice, but well trodden with tourists and established tourism and usual gouging and dodging tour buses on winding roads.

For me the stretch of coast from Antrim to North Mayo is the most beautiful and wild in the Country and also the least trodden and best value.

Many people don’t bother with the North, but you’re doing yourself a massive disservice.

From the West and have been to Enniskillen, Belfast and Derry 3 times in the last few months. Love the North but has got very expensive there. Fermanagh I think is an under rated County. Lovely Countryside, walks and things to see

I did the Belfast to Killarney drive 2 years back. Was tough on the back.

Didnt help when we hit a small town called Adair, and a wedding was on so traffic didn't move, was there for near an hour. Reminded me of the drive through Drogheda on the way to Dublin before the bypass.

The 2027 Ryder Cup is in that town Adare you went through. Imagine the traffic that will be there then.

There’s plenty more hotels in Ballybofey as they say mate. They can’t ban me from them all!

Is football special only a donegal thing? I lived in Strabane and you could get it there but is it only in the surrounding areas? Somebody once told me it was invented so the fellas going the Gaelic had something to drink other then beer and didn’t have to get absolutely toasted

Never been in it but my uncle stopped in the car park for a whizz every week when we drove to uni. I bought my car from a dealership out the back of it too. Still never been enticed to go in.

It’s a soft drink mate. I couldn’t explain the taste of it right now because it’s been a few years since I’ve had it. I remember it being a bit like Dr Pepper or Iron Bru in that it’s hard to pinpoint what it tastes of
