With regards to Cork the city, West Cork and East Cork get the bulk of the tourist traffic. North Cork is bit of a backwater but i like it too.

Mallow is a fine town imo. Both North Cork and West Waterford are very underrated.

It’s an incredible job though, the whole site - though accessibility isn’t great in the City but thus it’s always been, it was a bit of a vanity project, but it’s still great, would love to see it used more needs to be hosting all Ireland quarter and Semi finals at a minimum.

It’s a long way from the ground I was drinking warm cans of bud by the Lee before the Oasis gig in 95 - I think! lol
Great summer that was! I love Cork but the city is not as nice as what it was sadly. It's gotten rougher post covid imo.

Really compared to other places, our country is peaceful enough overall thankfully. Dublin is still safer than the vast majority of major cities around the world imo.
Don’t know mate, it’s not the City I grew up any more, it’s a shame but not unrecoverable.

It’s not only the edge, think the character and Bohemia has been knocked out of it a bit.

It’s now a commercial centre, transport hub and a place people move to for money and jobs snd opportunity it’s so the population is transient, it’s hard to feel a sense of community now like even 10 years ago, it’s another faceless City now. Often feel the GAA is all we left of the authentic Dublin.

Maybe I’m just getting older and remembering in my day.

My favourite version of Cork City was the 90's and early to mid 00's one. The city in it's present state just doesn't have the same buzz or atmosphere to it imo.
