I was out on friday for dinner and drinks. £6 a pint of Guinness, scandalous. Was in my local last Sunday at it's £3.70 for the same pint.

So many tourist traps in the city centre now. Although with the cruise ships it's a good thing, we kept hearing the city centre was dying because of hybrid working, definetly not the case.
NI civil servants and business leaders only see one aim- every penny must go to Belfast. They ignore the benefits of hybrid working to the regional towns as people now spend their money in local shops.

I really don’t know what tourists see in Belfast.

It’s like any country really, around the edges are ok but the midlands are pointless, featureless places full of crooked faced people with limited vocabulary.

They should flood the midlands and put on water sports or boat trips or something. Any county not touching sea does not need to be part of the polo shaped utopia.

It has the Titanic exhibition to be fair. It's the second biggest city on the island after Dublin as well.

Mayo is a great spot. Westport would be the nicest town there. The Mayo gaelic football team have had worse luck than Everton.

They last won an all Ireland in 1951 and in the meantime have lost an awful lot of all Ireland finals!
Was in Mayo for 1st time last summer. Was a horrible drive from Belfast but my god it was a beautiful spot. We were staying on a little peninsula and surrounded by some of the best beaches I've ever seen. Middle of nowhere and there was still a pub right next door

I did the Belfast to Killarney drive 2 years back. Was tough on the back.

Didnt help when we hit a small town called Adair, and a wedding was on so traffic didn't move, was there for near an hour. Reminded me of the drive through Drogheda on the way to Dublin before the bypass.
